Son of Jim and the late Kathleen, Brother to Kath and John (Sean), Uncle to Katie and Liam.
Passed away suddenly 7th Jan 08 from a heart attack after suffering from pneumonia.
Alan was a great friend, a one in a million really, he would do absolutely anything for you and as
they said at his funeral , he would look afer those closest to him. I can't believe that in August
we went to Dublin to celebrate his 50th birthday and only a few months later are mourning his
death.
He came from a wonderful family who are devastated by his death.
Alan would always be there for anyone who needed help regardless of colour or religion he was one in
a million and we are so proud to have had him as a friend. God bless you Alan wherever you are, we
miss you so much xx

Al, It's been a year and I can still remember that call from your Dad as it was yesterday, to say we were shocked is an understatement, we had been to see you the day before and you looked so well, we thought that you were finally coming home, your last words to me were "see ya kid", I suppose we wil meet again one day but this last year has been hard for us all, so much has happened that you have missed that you should have been sharing with us. Your Dad misses you so much but he is being well looked after by Sean. We're happy you're with your Mum but we really miss you, xxxxx Kim, Mark & Boys
